Behind the Seams: Spotlight on the VS Archives Collection

When you think of classic Victoria’s Secret, the idea that comes to mind is excitement in the air, loud music, shining lights, an, of course, iconic supermodels strutting down the runway in made-to-be-seen pieces. Meet our latest blast from the past.

“The Rosette Corset Top is such a special piece. You can’t help but fall in love with it,” says Nicola Lobb, Senior Vice President of Design, who recommends pairing it with jeans or trousers and heels for a night-out.

Showcasing a bouquet of handmade silk rosettes artfully applied in a heart shape, the romantic bustier recreates an iconic look that originally debuted on the Victoria’s Secret runway and catalogue cover in 1997.

This stellar piece is among the highlights of our limited-edition VS Archives capsule featuring luxe lingerie and apparel that evokes some of our most glamorous hits from the 1980s through Y2K.

“We were inspired to go back into our archives and pull styles that felt beautiful and relevant today,” said Lobb. “It’s exciting to see the increased interest in vintage VS products.”

Indeed, rare Victoria’s Secret Gold Label finds are generating buzz on social media. [One TikToker even created her own DIY version of the Rosette Corset Top after coming across an original authentic asking for $500 on a resale website.
