HOW TO MEASURE

1. BAND SIZE

Wear a non-padded bra and use a soft tape measure. Hold the tape measure around your back at band level. Then bring it to the front, just above your bust.

The resulting number is your band size.

Hint: If the number is odd, round down to the closest even number.

2. BUST MEASUREMENT

Measure completely around the fullest part of your bust (at nipple level). This is your bust measurement. If this measurement falls on the 1/2 inch, round up.

Hint: Make sure the measuring tape is parallel with the ground and not binding..

3. CUP SIZE

Subtract the band size (Step 1) from the bust measurement (Step 2). This number equates to the letter of your cup size.

BUST MEASUREMENT – BAND SIZE = CUP SIZE

For example, if your bust measurement is 36" and your band size is 34, you wear a B cup.

Hint: Every body is different and results may vary slightly. You can also visit a Victoria’s Secret store for a complimentary expert fitting with a Bra Specialist.

FIT SOLUTIONS

THE BACK BAND

Moves up as the day (or night) wears on.

Solution: Adjust the closure to a tighter hook. Already there? Try a smaller band size. (If it’s comfortable, always use the first, loosest hook on a new bra. Your band will naturally relax over time, and starting with the loosest hook gives you room to tighten later.)

Bulges slightly.

Solution: Loosen it or go up a band size to get some space.

THE STRAPS

Mark up your shoulders.

Solution: Loosen your straps. If that doesn’t do the trick, try a larger cup or smaller band.

Constantly slip down.

Solution: Tighten them or go down a band size. A smaller band size means closer-together straps.

THE CUPS

Overflow and feel constricting.

Solution: Try the next cup size up for a little breathing room.

Gap or pucker.

Solution: Tighten the band or go down a cup size if they’re not filled out.

THE CENTER

Pinches, rubs or won’t stay flat.

Solution: Go up a cup size for a new sense of comfort.

THE UNDERWIRE

Is noticeable or uncomfortable.

Solution: Go up a cup size. Underwire should sit on the ribcage without rubbing you the wrong way.
